A database structure that mirrors your membership structure

Stratum looks and functions in a way that mirrors your membership structure exactly. It excels at simplifying and organising multiple and complex types of relationships into one system. It stores and links multiple names against specific organisations and their affiliations, supporting the development of area and group structures including wider volunteer management, including but not definitive of;

Creating and Viewing Relationships

Relationship types can be set up and amended by the client at any time with the correspondence preference stated for an individual amended in the context of a relationship.
Relationships can be viewed in a tree like manner with drill down facility to show two- way connectivity, created automatically when a relationship is assigned.

Processing New Member Joins

Stratum is designed to grow and change with the structure and size of your membership. Features include;

• Membership details added immediately to the database through on-line join

Renewal Handling

Stratum identifies when members are due for renewal. Unlike other systems where this is rolled together, Stratum analyses this through a simplified matrix when determining subscriptions. This reduces the need for numerous different membership codes as Stratum does this for you automatically.

• Members renew on line or a renewal is sent by the preferred method of communication
• It handles subscriptions for any combination of calendar year, anniversary or periodic renewals
• It flags up non-respondents, produces reports and tailored letters at key points, generates letters to lapsed members and reclassifies them
  

Flexible navigation for staff and members

We configure member requirements by individual or groups – members only see what they need to see and what is relevant to them. Members can log in and see one screen per function to update their details, enter a course booking or pay for any subscriptions.

Management of Membership of Committees and Member profiling

Stratum includes comprehensive facilities for managing committees and the posts within them to be set up and members assigned. Correspondence options allow for the communication with post holders including the set up of email lists. The software also allows for the in house creation of fields and screens allowing new fields to be created with freeform or fixed values to record personal and business interests.

Automatic and flexible subscription calculation

Stratum simplifies complex membership structures and makes it much easier for members to understand the subscription process.
